The Bachelor of Science (BSc) Microbiology course emphasizes the study of the living system and its relationship with the outside environment. It is an interdisciplinary course that covers subjects related to bacteriology, mycology, virology, general microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, medical, agricultural, industrial, food, dairy microbiology; immunology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioinformatics, biophysics, and space microbiology.
Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the characteristics, properties, and applications of subjects related to chemistry, genetics, and biology after the course. The BSc Microbiology course is usually a component of a triple combination degree.
