Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery

The Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine And Surgery (BHMS) is a 4.5 years undergraduate course with 1 year compulsory Internship where the students learn the pseudoscientific system of alternative medicine. Homeopathy is a treatment based on the use of highly diluted substances and is used for an extremely wide range of health conditions. Homeopathy made its existence based on a series of ideas developed in the 1790s by a German doctor called Samuel Hahnemann.

The Curriculum focusses on the Anatomy, Physiology, Homeopathic pharmacy, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Surgery including ENT, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Infant care, Homeopathic therapeutics, Organon of Medicine and Community Medicine.

Skills like analysing, communication, listening skills, counselling are enhanced through the course.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2/ PUC/Equivalent Examination  with English as one of the language and physics,Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with minimum of 50% of Marks in the aggregate of the Science subjects.
• Candidate should be qualified in NEET Examination
