The Bachelor of Science (BSc) Electronics (Honours) course focuses on the relationship between Physics and Mathematics. It covers the theory and practical aspects of the fundamentals, manufacture, and designing of electrical circuits such as transistors, devices, microprocessors, instrumentation, microcontrollers, vacuum tubes, integrated circuits, and diodes that are required for electricity, voltage, and current.
Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the design, function, and application of transistors, microchips, semiconductors, conductors, vacuum and gases and how to resolve the challenges in the electronics and communication industry through audio-visuals, seminars, guest lectures, worksheets, workshops, competitions, presentations and internships included in the course. The BSc Electronics course is usually offered as a triple combination degree with other relevant subjects in the Science discipline.
