The Bachelor of Science (BSc) Zoology course focuses on the concepts of evolution, animal behavior, animal classification, theories about the animal kingdom, and the interaction of animals with the environment. It covers subjects related to biosystematics, structure, and functions of invertebrates, tools, and techniques in biology, animal physiology and ethology, physiology, genetics and evolution, structure, and function of vertebrates and environmental biology.
Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the characteristics, features, traits, and description of the Animal Kingdom through audio-visuals, seminars, guest lectures, workshops, competitions, presentations, internships, and field visits included in the course. The BSc Zoology course is usually offered as a triple combination degree with other relevant subjects in the Science discipline.
Skills like problem-solving, drawing, presentation, analytical thinking and logical skills are enhanced through this course. This subject has multiple opportunities in Scientific Research and Development.
