The Master of Public Health (MPH) is a postgraduate course that focuses on the application of various healthcare concepts and principles to monitor, evaluate, improve, standardize and enhance the health of people in the community and society. It is an interdisciplinary subject that involves Medicine, Engineering, IT, Social Sciences, and Management. The courses help to promote good health, nutrition, stress-free living, early disease detection, and health management. Subjects covered in the curriculum include health education, biostatistics, epidemiology, social and behavioral sciences, public policy, ethics, hazardous waste inspection and control, biosecurity, environmental health, disease analysis, and health services administration. Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the principles and applications of medicine and healthcare concepts to simplify life, eradicate the disease through vaccination, improve the standard of living, in family planning and preventive medicine through various seminars, case studies, lectures, lab demonstrations, field visits, journal clubs, group discussions, internships, dissertations, practical exercises and sessions and workshops included in this course.
