The Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) is an undergraduate course that emphasizes Hotel Management and is an interdisciplinary course involving allied sectors like HR Management, Marketing, and Finance. The course is designed to offer the students the basic concepts of Hospitality analysis, management, and catering. The students will be learning the relevant skills of both hospitality and management that are required to meet the ever-growing demands in the fields of hotel, travel, and tourism. Knowledge and aptitude for the current and trending topics and lifestyle patterns is an added advantage. Subjects related to Cooking Methods, Food Commodities, Housekeeping Methods, Food and Beverage Services, Quality Control Methods, Restaurant Planning and Organization, Computer Applications, Marketing and Sales, Hotel Accounting, Accommodation Management, and Customer Relationship Management help to groom smart and efficient Managers. The main aim of the course is to train the students to apply the theoretical principles and practical applications of management in the hospitality, travel, or hotel sector.
