The Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Interior Design is an undergraduate course that emphasizes the theoretical concepts involved in visualizing and designing comfortable spaces based on people’s vision, plans, needs, and requirements and converting them into effective areas of activity. It is an interdisciplinary subject that includes Designing, Fine Arts, Engineering, and Architecture. It covers subjects related to planning, designing, organizing, and managing a space according to its description, function, and application and based on structural specifications, health and safety needs, and building codes. Candidates will have diverse knowledge about the techniques used in design and management, practical designing techniques for an interior space, industry-specific theories, and unique design skills.
Skills like analytical thinking, creativity, critical thinking, innovation, eye for detail, aesthetics, and entrepreneurship are enhanced through seminars, internships, guest lectures, workshops, projects, and assignments are included in the course.
