St. Joseph's College of Law is a law college under the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society. The college was founded by St. Ignatius Loyola. Fr. Dr. Jerome Stanislaus D'Souza SJ is the president of the Jesuit Community.
St. Joseph’s College of Law began imparting legal education through undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in 2017. It is the first-ever Jesuit Law College in South Asia. It is committed to pursuing several progressive and innovative ideas to grow and shape its identity to take its place among the premier legal institutes. The academic content is designed keeping in mind the needs of modern-day legal education. The faculty is renowned for its creative and innovative teaching techniques.
The course curriculum is enhanced through value-added courses, group discussion, and learning, guest lectures, internships, seminars, and workshops. The college also has an excellent placement record. The college has a lush green campus and is an ideal place for learning and career-building.
