Overview

Ramakrishna Ayurvedic Medical College, Hospital and Research was established in the year 1999 with the aim to impart training to students in the basic principles & philosophy of Ayurveda, integrating the modern scientific advances for providing better hospital care to the masses and the society as a whole. The College is sponsored and managed by Sri Balaji Education Trust. Karavali Group of colleges is sponsored and managed by this trust. The campus has a well-stocked library, reading room &indoor auditorium. A herbal garden with more than 250 medicinal plants is available for demonstration. The College has a collection of over 200 wet specimens of rare plants in the pharmacology museum.

The College is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Department of AYUSH, New Delhi, and approved by the Government of Karnataka. The College runs with a vision to be a Center Of Excellence for Ayurveda Education, Research and Practice and with a mission to produce socially committed professionals to render services ethically for preventive, promotive, and curative aspects of health through Ayurveda and to integrate Ayurveda into the mainstream medicine to cater the needs of the society.
