Prasanna Ayurvedic College and Hospital was established in the year 2013 under the aegis of Prasanna Education Trust ®, Laila, Belthangady, D. K., Karnataka. The President of the trust is Sri. K. Gangadhara Gowda, Ex-Minister Government of Karnataka who aims to provide a better and effective healthcare to the people of the surrounding area. Trust also provides education in different disciplines.
The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) with an annual intake capacity of 100 students. Ancient traditional practice of Pancha karma and Yoga therapy along with modern diagnostic tools and surgical as well as obstetric OT facilities are available for a comprehensive health care. Experienced specialists doctors in various disciplines supported by well-trained paramedical staff are working in the hospital. College was started in 2016 with 100 students in each batch.
