Krishnadevaraya Dental College is a private dental college and hospital. Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences & Hospital was established in the year 1992 by the Sri Krishnadevaraya Educational Trust which began in the year 1985. It was established by a group of philanthropists belonging to the Raju Kshatriya Community. Dr. A.C Chandrashekar Raju is the President of Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences and Hospital
The Medical College has been committed to excel in the fields of education, research, patient care, and community service. The course curriculum integrates educational innovation, high-quality research, and patient-centered health care, together with state-of-the-art facilities with the objective of creating qualified and compassionate graduates who are ready to assist the community and society. The Research Hospital has advanced facilities and is equipped with an advanced OT with 25 bedded facilities with modern diagnostic facilities. The postgraduate students are given opportunities to attend regular postings at KIDWAI Memorial Institute of Oncology, NIMHANS, St. John’s Hospital, Narayana Health City, and Oral 3D Imaging Centre, Bangalore.
Krishnadevaraya Dental College has got University ranks for BDS and MDS almost every year. It ranks 32nd in India by India Today Poll of Best Dental Colleges in the country in 2018 and has received 2 Gold Medals in the BDS 2019 Convocation and 3 Gold Medals in the BDS 2017 Convocation.
