Overview
Indian Academy Degree College is an autonomous degree college established in the year 1994 by the Founder Chairman, Dr. Thummala Somasekhar, under the Indian Academy Education Trust (IAET) with the objective of imparting high-quality education through a strong academic foundation, latest infrastructure, experienced and qualified faculty, state-of-the-art facilities that ensure an all-round learning experience, digitalization, The Principal of the college is E. Jerome Xavier.
The main objective of Indian Academy Degree College is to enhance the learning abilities of the students with a focus on academics, technology, and entrepreneurship. Students are prepared for academic and professional excellence through competitive academic programs and industry partnerships. The course curriculum is enhanced through additional value-added courses, guest lectures, Placement Training and assistance through the Indian Academy Centre for Student Placements and Services, internships, seminars and workshops, and training programs through Indian Academy Centre for Professional Excellence (IACPE) and Indian Academy Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (IACEL). The college is adaptable for international students through academic collaborations with global premier institutions.
