Bapuji Ayurvedic Medical College was established in the year 1996 and is running under the Bapuji Educational Trust. The two remarkable personalities and philanthropists Mr.D.Manjunath, the Ex – Minister for education, Govt. of Karnataka and Mr. H. Hanumanthappa, the former M.P. and central Silk Board Chairman, with unparallel pioneering spirit started Bapuji Education Society for the rural backward and depressed class, through this a renaissance that took place in the area, years ago it has become a legacy for others to imbibe.
The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Department of AYUSH, New Delhi.
