Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences (BIDS) was established in the year 1991 under the leadership of Mr. K Subba Rao, Chairman of Vignan Educational Foundation (VEF). The Institution has grown leaps and bounds. The college was recognized by the Dental Council of India on 8th November 1995. The first batch of post-graduates from Bangalore Institute of Dental Sciences (BIDS) graduated in 2002.
