Adichunchanagiri Ayurvedic Medical College was established in the year 2016 by Padmabhushana Jagdguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Maha Swamiji, who was the pioneer of Anna Dasoha (Service through Food), Akshara Dasoha (Service through Education) and Arogya Dasoha (Service through Health). The institution is one among the 300 educational institutions functioning under Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust(R) where more than 40,000 students are being benefited every year with good quality education in various branches.
The College is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) with an annual intake capacity of 100 students and recognized by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Department of AYUSH, New Delhi. The main objective of the institution is to provide high quality education of Ayurveda, practical exposure, clinical expertise along with Spiritual, Moral, Cultural, Social and Environmental activities so that competent Ayurveda Doctors with moral values are generated for the service of the mankind.

Eligibility | Candidates must have passed the 10+2/ PUC/Equivalent Examination (Listed with RGUHS) with English as one of the language and physics,Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects with minimum of 50% of Marks in the aggregate of the Science subjects in the case of general category and 40% marks in the case of SC/ST and Other Backward Classes. In respect of persons with disability candidate specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (49 of 2016), the minimum qualifying marks in the said qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology shall be 45% in the case of general category and 40% in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes.
