NEET PG -2021 Postponed till 31st August & Medical Graduates for Covid 19 duty

  • NEET PG-2021 is officially postponed till 31st August was announced from the Prime Minister Office.
  • This move is done to free the medical graduates for the Covid 19 duty as the Country is facing the worst unexpected phase of the Pandemic.
  • Also, candidates would get at least a month to prepare for the examination and a new date is yet to be announced.
  • MBBS graduates, Medical personnel, nursing students and all who complete 100 days of COVID duty would be given priority in the upcoming regular Government recruitments.
  • Apart from this, Insurance Schemes will be applicable.
  • Prime Minister - Narendra Modi on 02/05/21 had analysed various parameters to augment human resources  for managing the prevailing Covid 19 situation effectively.
  • Government was expected to take up the choice to ask the medical and nursing students preparing for NEET PG -2021 to join the pandemic duty.
  • In return, the Prime Minister’s Office has also offered incentives to medical graduates who decide to support the task.
